This two-year program of instruction in the basics of the Christian faith is provided for all students in seventh grade or above. Taught by Pastor Amanda, with the help of lay members of the church, this course prepares students for adult membership in our congregation. The Confirmation experience includes a retreat to Camp Calumet, a lock-in, worship participation, hosting the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, and organizing our church’s participation in the Souper Bowl of Caring. We alternate years studying Luther’s Small Catechism and the Bible.
The Confirmation class will meet on Thursday evenings, 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the Gathering Room. The Confirmation orientation for students and their parents/guardians will be held on Thursday, September 21st at 6:00 p.m.
